Susie White and the Right Hand man by Lucy Felthouse

A wedding, an evil plan, a love story and a sacrifice are the order of the day in this modern retelling of Snow White and the Huntsman.
Susie White and her stepmother-to-be have never seen eye to eye, despite all of Susie’s best efforts to be friendly. Eager not to spoil her father’s happiness, Susie still agrees to be bridesmaid at their wedding. When the big day comes, she meets Louise’s right hand man, Scott. Susie had never believed in love at first sight until that moment. The pair hit it off, sharing a mutual dislike of Louise and her wicked ways. Their camaraderie quickly develops into something more, and they date in secret until it’s time for Susie to leave for University – and freedom. Unfortunately, Scott has an earth-shattering revelation, which means the two of them of them must work together to unravel Louise’s evil plan, before it’s too late.

A short story of a wicked step mother marrying Susie's rich entrepreneur father. This story is a brilliant twist on a modern day fairytale Snow white. I loved how fast paced this short story was, its a really fun light hearted read.
Despite Susie trying her hardest to befriend and get to know Louise she makes it clear she hates her, treating her like dirt. But kind Susie puts up with all this because she is just happy that her father is recovering well after the death of his wife, her mother.

Finally Susie gets to meet the gorgeous Scott who happens to be Louise's right hand man; we find out how cruel and nasty she can be but I wont give the story away. Its too good....really it is.
I loved the build up and felt Susie is quite relatable you really do warm to her quickly and feel quite relieved when she finally meets Scott giving her some happiness and great sex in her life.

A brilliant involving read all the way through, my only niggle was that the ending was too short; although I have to express it was still a good ending. Being more of a full novel reader I personally wanted to know more of what happened afterwards to both couples.
But I still loved this brilliant idea and plot and its still a fantastic read; another great book for your "me time" moments.
